    Default group manager

I don't know how or why but when i used to create a group (by right clicking and selecting group) it would make a group and if i ever selected any single object which was part of the group the entire group would be all selected. Now, when i create a group the group manager creates one, but the single objects within the group act as single objects and if i select one the entire group isnt selected.
How can i get my autocad lt 2005 to go back to being the old way?

    Thanks in advance

    Shawn.

In the Group dialog, make sure it says Yes under the selectable column.

    Hi

Also check system variable PickStyle - needs to be set to 1 or 3 for Group selection.

    Have a good one, Mike

At the command line type in PICKSTYLE. It will tell you what its set to plus you can change it if its not set right.

    This is from AutoCAD help.

Controls the use of group selection and associative hatch selection.

0 No group selection or associative hatch selection
