    Unhappy Rendering problem

I have attached two images of the same view, one HL and one rendered.

Please note, I am using 'storefronts' for the glass walls both side of the corridor in the views. The rendered view is opaque when you have back to back storefront walls.

    Could someone please verify this.

Yep, I always max out the number of transparency bounces, you can go to 20. At the same time, I recommend reducing the number of reflection bounces to 1.

Did some experimenting. I took an image fromthe oppsoite side looking thru corridor and it worked fine. I deleted the offending view and reset it with a new one it worked fine.

I will try the bounces too.

I have noticed over the years that when ever I have upgraded from a previous release I have always had this problem of the blackout with glass. I discussed this with another user inhouse and found he had the same problem with his upgraded view. He dekleted it and made a new one... fine!
