    Question VIZ

Are there any plan for Revit to get a Viz Render just like ADT?
Or, is there any chance we might get a direct File Link between Revit and Viz?
After all, they belong to the same company...

I read in a few places that Viz was soon going to be incorporated in Revit and 8 seemed a pretty good moment.

There are many people that before starting with Revit they used the AutoCAD/ Viz combo. ADT maintained it. I'm just plain curious if this change could actually take place.

    Theoretically yes but
    • it would take a loooooot of work
    • a lot of users would be scared off by it (VIZ is harder to figure out)
Still, it's better than Accurender. So I say they should get AR4 into Revit. But good luck on that.

I say provide something within the API to allow you to use any Rendering Engine you wish directly out of Revit.

But then I have *no* idea how Materials would work then...
