Has anyone else had issues in Autocad 2005 in drawing a circle that is ttr to two Polylines, or lines and then try to trim the circle using the two lines? (I know about fillet, but fillet does not work in this situation)

I have had problems with this in every version of AutoCAD. Mainly dealing with circles in general. I have read that it had to do with rounding errors inside AutoCAD. You can id or measure a distance and everything look fine, but AutoCAD goes out more decimal places. With circles needing quite a bit of calculations, they are very prone to this problem.
I don't know if this is the correct reason, but it makes sense to me. I usually draw a line from the center of the circle and making it perpendicular to the tangent line. Then using this line to trim the circle.
