Default Graphic Door and Window Schedule

Does any firm out there show door frame, door type, and window graphics adjacent to thier schedules? Could someone post a screen shot of this done in Revit and an explanation? What I would like to do is set up a legend of sort that we could use for detail callouts.

    Thanks

See attached example in ...yes...Autocad....I'm sorry!

Something like this. This is a small design/build church project where I can get plan, schedules, door types, details on one page.

That's essentially what we do as well, putting the details and types into drafting views.

We would love to have two things to make schedules/legends nearly perfect!

    1. Put detail callouts in a legend view

    2. Put detail references in a schedule (parametrically of course! not just typed in)

Allen, that makes sense....but am i right in understanding that the door types ane not parametric? It would be nice if they were!

Yeah, that's correct unfortunately. Just a legend with door types used in project.

One thing that I find to make it easier to create legends is to delete/purge all unused door types before creating the legend. Even if you need to change a door type, you don't need to search through a bunch of unused ones to find the new one. A wishlist item would be that when putting a type in a legend, it would show up in the list again like views on sheets.

One thing I noticed on your window schedule, which I wish we could do today, is to generate a graphic window schedule legend for Curtain wall windows. As far as I know, you can only schedule individual panels. Most of our projects would take advantage of this option. Anyone else?

For me, this is a must. I usually don't treat windows and storefront systems differently....actually ALL the windows above are storefront.
