Angry Project File - Type=Single User

I have a project file who's type is set to Single User. I want to changed it to Shared but am having difficulty. When I right-click the type to change it my only option is Single User. I've tried to create a new project where it might start as Shared but all I can do is create another Single User type.

What do I need to do?

Single user projects can not be changed. However, I find it strange that you can not create a totally new shared project. Have you resolved this yet? Are you trying to name your new shared project the same as the existing one?

Still haven't resolved the problem. Besides creating a project in the Project Editor is there some program that will give me more control. The problem started when I installed Inventor 10. My original project was a shared/multiple but when it converted the project, it gave me a massage that the type of project was no longer supported and it changed the settings. Now I can't create an other type of project other then single. It doesn't even ask what type of project I would like to create, it just defaults to the single.

    Please help ;(

Something I picked up in the Autodesk Inventor discussion group, this sounds like it might help.

For those that don't know you can check the "enable use of legacy project types" box on the general tab of the application options. This will allow the set up of semi-isolated and shared user projects.
My thanks to KLBosch. Click here for full details INVENTOR SHARED/SEMI-ISOLATED PROJECTS
