    Default AutoCAD 2006 menu issue

    I have transfered all of my existing menu files to the CUI format but when I open an AutoCAD session I am prompted on the command line;

    Enter name of customization file to load:

    I don't understand where this is coming from, I beleive that I have everything setup correctly.

    Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

    What do you have assigned for the Main cui file in your Options dialog?

    Are you doing a menuload/cuiload in code anywhere (say a .mnl or Acad(Doc).lsp)?

    Problem solved by reinstalling, AutoCAD was looking for the SWFILECONV.ARX file and could not find it.

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

    When I installed another CAD package this problem started happening.

    The easiest way to fix this problem is to locate the file 'acad.rx'
    which should be located in your autocad support directory under program
    files. Open the file with wordpad or notepad. In my file there is only one
    line item, which was swfileconv.arx. Simply comment the line out by placing
    a semi-colon ( ; ) infront of swfileconv.arx (i.e. ;swfileconv.arx) and save
    the file. Then with any luck when you restart autocad, SWFILECONV.ARX should
    not have loaded.
