Smile Student needs an Interview? any volunteers?

I'm a student at the Art Institute and have been asked to interview an experienced CAD professional. Would anyone be willing to answer a few short questions? The questions are as follows:
Name (first), location, and profession of the person,

When do they use CAD in the production process (i.e. preliminary design, design development, etc.),

The types of standardization they use, and

Advantages or disadvantages that CAD brings to their practice.

Anyone that is willing to help would be greatly appreciated!!!

prelim design, design development, record drawings (pretty much full life cycle of job)
The types of standardization they use, and
In house standards as well as Clilent and regulatory boards (gov't depts)
Advantages or disadvantages that CAD brings to their practice.
pros Faster to do repetitive tasks, Standards can be aplied
cons because It is believed things can be "changed" at the drop of a hat design has a habit of not getting nailed down until 30 seconds before they're ready to build it.
Not as "artistic" as board work

Anyone that is willing to help would be greatly appreciated!!!

When do they use CAD in the production process (i.e. preliminary design, design development, etc.),
prelim design concepts, design development, construction drawings

The types of standardization they use, and
in house standards & govmental reglatory requirements

Advantages or disadvantages that CAD brings to their practice.
Advantages: Using Revit - Clients appreciate full colour 3D views; easier to prepare solar diagrams; conceptual design easier; management of drawing documentation, allows me to keep a few steps ahead of my competition...
Disadavantages: clients think that drawings/documents can be produced by pushing a few buttons; cost of upgrading hardware to keep up with software

Anyone that is willing to help would be greatly appreciated!!!
Hope that assists - maybe even get ya an A+

Right the way through the entire design process, from prelim to final assemblies, detail drawings and customer presentations.

PROS- Because I model everything in solids, a lot of errors can be eliminated in the design stages. The customer has a clearer idea of what they are receiving or what the problems might be. Drag and drop of standard parts speeds things up. The ability to simulate the entire process the assembly might go through.
CONS- Software and hardware update costs.
