I can't seem to be able to figure out the syntax / code for creating what I believe is referred to as "1/3 Staggered Running Bond" pattern for a 12" x 24" tile.

    Anyone have a .pat.

I drew the pattern I'm after (attached). any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Please help! I need to create a 1/3 running bond....7.5x72 inch tile. I cannot for the life of me edit the existing brick 1/3 running bond.

I figured it out. Difficult to explain "exactly" how. I used an existing 6 x 12 1/3 staggered hatch pattern and reverse engineered it with your 7 1/2" x 72" numbers. Anyway, it worked for my. Let me know how it works for you.

That pattern would work in Revit, but AutoCAD insists the pattern name and the filename should match. Exactly why that is so is lost to antiquity.

Try our HatchKit 2014 Brick and Tile Wizard to calculate various runiing bonds. It's part of our HatchKit 2014 Beta, which extends until September 1st here:

    http://www.hatchkit.com.au/hk2014betaofferform.php

A staggered bond pattern (without depicting mortar) requires only two elements, an unbroken horizontal and a staggered broken vertical. Try this:

    *7.5X72 THIRD RUNNING BOND
    0,0,0,0,7.5
    90,0,0,7.5,24,7.5,-15
