Tapering walls

Could some one explain , how could we make a vertically tapered wall.
larger at thee bottom and narrower at the top for example?

Is this a Revit question? You would make an Inplace family (Wall Category) and then you have a choice on using: sweep, blend, or extrude with void...

A maybe better way is to make a normal wall the maximum (or minimum) of the wall (either the with of the base or the top) and then create a void (if the wall's thickness is the maximum) or a solid (if the wall's thickness is the minimum)

If the tapering occurs in steps, you can use Stacked Wall types.

If you are just ending finish layers (i.e. extending a finish only up to a given height) you can unlock those layers in the wall type and adjust them in section to the appropriate height.

If the tapering is smooth (i.e. slanted or curving or 'bowed', then you would need to do as Luigi describes).
