Default Is it possible to model real stairs?

Is it possible to use the stair tool to create a steel stair that actually looks real, i.e. using C-channels as stringers and all that? Or would I have to create it from scratch?

You can use the stair tool, but you will have to load the profiles you want to use for the stringers, and maybe build some custom baluster families.
