Has anyone use the Andersen windows provided from the Autodesk Revit online content library? Have you noticed that most when placed in the model read wrong when providing the sill height and head height in the proprieties dialog box? I have played around with family a bit but, can not figure out what is tripping it up. It's just not right to have to adjust the head height from the sill height field.

The Andersen windows were originally created before head height was a parameter, and they have not behaved correctly since that parameter was introduced. This thread I believe explains a little more about it.

But depending on whether you use 8' or 9' walls, for instance, you need to position the heads anyway. And, I usually create a level for my top of window head and lock the windows to this level.

Thank you for the background I had not realized they were that old. I suppose that there is no quick fix then to jet them to read properly or the family would have been corrected by now. I would really like to be able to include head heights in the window schedule. I will try some more things, their has to be a remedy to this problem.

Let me know if you do make a change.
I understand now why you need the accurate display.
I may follow suit. Or maybe if you change them all you could re-submit them to Revit and they can re-post.
