Bushes and Trees

Does anyone have a library of bushes and trees they want to share? Or do you know where I can find more than what is in the Revit Library?

You can 'duplicate' a shrub and make it larger/smaller.

Also take any tree and "bury" it into the topo (for example, take the conifer pine at its default height and make the base offset -20 or -30 feet).

Do you mean RCP, accurender, or just symbols?

I need trees and shrubs that look more like general landscaping symbols - more variety in the 2D shape and that still has a 3D shape. What Revit ships with is very limited and I don't remember enough about AutoCAD to make anything useful. I have taken a block and imported it to make a new "tree" but I need more and I don't have the time to make them.

Try looking at RevitCity we got a fair amount from there.

You can find dwg blocks of trees, bushes and shrubs, then just import those into a plant family base file, then import that into your final plant family and they will scale up and down. Its really very slick. I place dwg plan symbols and elevation symbols in both axis,then I get a very nice look in elevations, plans and 3d. Here are some rvt and rcp examples of how to do it. You may need to repath the rpcs since they get hardcoded into the families.

I made them all, you can download a free RCP creator from archvision. You just take photos of the stuff you want or find it in magazines, crop out any background stuff in photoshop, save as jpgs and import into the creator.

I didn't put any there but I had alot of stuff on rugi, that does appear on revit city.
