I thought I read someplace awhle back that AutoDesk made the Express Tools a standard part of AutoCAD. I'm using ACAD 2004 and can't find them. Is it a still a seperate install? Or are they just spread out all over the place?
Thanks

Put in your install CD for AutoCAD 2004, and there will be an option to install express tools on the Autorun screen.Originally Posted by tflaherty
They are installed in a Full version of AutoCAD 2006 but not earlier versions
Did that, the option isn't there. I read the Help file and it said it should be listed under Step 5 Suplemental Tools, but it's not there on my install screen. Are they still the same as from 2002. I've got those, will they work in 2004?
The 2002 ETools will not work with A2004. But the 2004 ETools definitely should be on your CD.

The Express Tools wont be found if you are using A2004LT. It must be a full version.
I have all the answers,
Now if I could remember where I put them.........
