    Default extremely slow regen!

    Hi from shiny greece!!!

Just got in job a new pc (AMD+3500, 2GB DDR Ram, 2x80GB sata raid,Geforce6800Ultra/256MB pci expr) and still having problem in regenerating 3D drawings (see attached) in model space when applying Hidden Shade.
When panning/zooming in/out, the machine slows extremely down. The same happens when in Layout space and one viewport shows Hidden objects. When applying Flat Shaded/Gouraud Shaded the performance is excellent (same in Layout space)
***When using 3D Orbit and Hidden Shade the performance is excellent also.
Note that the blocks used in drawings have many little holes that maybe slow the regeneration but i tried without solution VIEWRES, Display Resolution settings.I also enabled Hardware acceleration etc.

Please show me some solution !!!!

I would look into getting the latest WQHL driver for your video card. I know this will have some effect on Accurender, and my be doing something similar to the Orbit, Pan and Zoom.
