Default How can I distribute a custom macro

I have two custom macros to toggle between user palette sets and company palette sets within one profile. I created the custom command and toolbar on my computer and want to distibute it to my 100+ users across 3 offices. What is the best way to do this? I hoped that it would import when the users imported my profile but had no luck with that.

    Hi

The custom macro is stored within the menu file you specified when creating the custom buttons, I am going to assume you used a Custom.mnu (or mns) file here and are on a network...

Therefore simply deploy the Custom.mnu file in a central network location; add that location (path) to the AutoCAD search path; Export an AutoCAD profile (arg); other AutoCAD users can now Import that Profile and Set Current.

The above is just a very basic outline of what you could do... try searching the forums, you will find lots of information on this subject.

To get you going in the right direction try the following key words in the forum search facility -

    Key Word(s): *custom* + network

    Have a good one, Mike
