Octagon Window Size Parameter

I have made a nice 2' octagonal window family (the octagonal window from the Revit Autodesk site is a hex after all) with grids that I can turn on and off. I would like parameters to make its size adjustable (say 1' or 3' or whatever) but after many many hours I just can't seem to make it work. Could this be a rare instance outside the capabilities of Revit or is it my abilities in question?

Hi there guys after seeing your Octagonal Windows and openings I tried to see if I could maybe simplify the process a little.Here is my Octagonal opening. zenomail you can add a file when you are in the the advanced section for replies by managing attachments
