Default Copied dynamic blocks not dynamic anymore..

    Hi all,
I just copied some dynamic blocks in the same drawing & the copied ones don't seem to be dynamic anymore. I say "don't seem to be" because they've lost their "handles" but when I bedit them they still have their parameters. Can anyone explain or help? Thanks.

    Hi kwong

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD 2006 General Forum to this one as I believe it would be better served here.

    Thanks, Mike

I have had the similar issues, still cannot figure out why.

I've never seen that one before? Have you tried PURGING your drawing right before dropping in the paste clip?

    sorry not much help.

How did you perform the copy?

Mark: Yes I purged the drawing, also did an audit.

RobertB: 2 ways - one was copy to same drawing and the other was copyclip & pasteclip to another. The first method was OK sometimes, but the second never OK. I ended up inserting fresh blocks to all the drawings in the end.

I haven't had a problem with either, I just finished using them in a project where I had to do both.
