    Default enter name of drawing to open <.>:

    While running the batch plot command my computer locked up. When I go to file open rather than going to the target location it ask me Enter name of drawing to open <.>:

    Can anyone tell me what I did and how to fix it?

    Are you talking about the dialog box not appearing? If so, check out this thread out from the AutoCAD FAQ.

    When trying to open a drawing, the dialog box does not display

    reset the filedia sysvar to 1
