Attach command for column

Hi everybody!

I my project I have structural slab with slope and a lot of columns. I need to extend (or trim) columns to this slab. I wish to have a column tool like ATTACH for wall.

I can convert columns to walls, but I don’t like when that wall suddenly change its size joining with a flanked wall. I believe that ATTACH command as a tool to define column height by slabs and other Revit objects will be helpful for column Revit object type.

Does attaching columns to a top and bottom Level not meet your needs?

Attaching to level means that all colums have the same level of top.
But I really have the case where each column has different top elevation
