What do you mean, going away? I don't anticipate Autodesk doing away with it, but they might. If you use it as a place to put your non-plotting stuff, it is very easy to create a new non-plotting layer, you can even call it defpoints. I think it still functions as a layer for nodes for dimensions, though, doesn't it?
Thank you Brenda! I thought that I heard something that it was going away! I may be wrong! So I decided to ask the question. I know that it works with the nodes for the dimensioning and that I has other uses also.Originally Posted by BrenBren

I haven't heard anything, but, then again, I don't hear about a lot of thingsOriginally Posted by BCrouse
Do you make use of the layer? If so, what for? I never have.Originally Posted by BCrouse
Ditto, I have always made my own no plot layer to maintain layer control.Originally Posted by Maverick91
I don't typically create stuff on it myself, but, most of my drawings use it for various things, notes and erm... plottable area...Originally Posted by Maverick91
what would you call that... we have sets of drawings for all of our floor plans, and draw a box which, when x-ref'd into each you're plotting the same lineup/coordinates per floor.
