    Default Project setup

How are you guys dealing with the project setup in Civil 3D
Our firm currently has its projects organized by number, then there would be a few Land Desktop project directories. However from what i can tell if i organize the projects the same way in Civil 3D you would need to add a ton of paths to the projects search path. Can someone steer me in the right direction?

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Hi Chris,
Can you give some more info on what the problem is? What happens if you don't add the project into the search paths?
I'm only using 2005 so far, and basically the whole design is now in the Autocad file instead of the project directories. I'm guessing your problems are coming from data shortcuts, or whatever they're called.

Thanks, and sorry I can't help you.
