Cool what .ctb did I really want?

    Howdy y’all,

I’m seeing a strange thing happening in MAP 2005. When I go to either the print dialog box or to the Layout setup dialog box and I try to set or change the .ctb file that I want, when I pick the name of the file the name two names down is chosen instead. What’s up with that? What can I do to fix it?

While I’m on the subject is there a way to get that scroll to be longer?

I have had that happen to me a couple times as well. Haven't figured out why it does it because it only does it sometimes for me, not always.

I'm using regular 2005, I have the same problem with one of our pen table settings, to resolve this issue, I copied the pen table and renamed it something else.

    An alternative solution

If you can import a page setup from another drawing that has that pen table current, you can get it to stay

What I'm seeing isn't specific to any drawings and not specific to any .ctb files. I wonder if it has to do with the video driver or mouse driver except that the only place this happens is in the plot style table pull-down.

We've run into that problem before as well, it seems as though if you have too mant ctb files in the regular folder it screws things up a little. Try moving some of your less used ctb's to a secondary folder and see if that helps.

I'm assuming you are meaning to make the list longer so you can see more ctb files at once? Check out QuikPik from ManuSoft.
