Interesting dialogs boxes...first is from 8.1 tutorial for 8.1 the second is the actual dialog in 8.1...glimpse of the future format or one that was nixed? You be the judge? But imagine working through a tutorial and you get different dialog boxes, confusing...a bit...not for me but a new user...you bet!

It appears REVIT 8.1 Help is out of Sinc wiith the actual inteface on several topics and tutorials.

Turns out my copy of the tutorial file in the 8.1 install was an older version. I suspect it is a remnant from the "beta" version...the newer file doesn't have this same section. Thanks to Brittany for catching this.
