Rotate text

I have DWF Composer build 1.0.0.2161 and find it useful but I notice two things that people might be able to help me with.

I often want to rotate text, this just doesn't seem to be possible. Any ideas?

Some colleagues with dwf viewer do not see my markups. Again, any ideas?

I know that two disparate queries in one post and it shouldn't be done, but please bear with me this once.
