I recieved a file from an unknown user .. no way to contact ...

When I plot the file some of the characters plots out as squares. Why is this happening when most of the fonts plot out fine?

Does the Text display ok! on the screen?

Is the Text using SHX or TTF ?

Have you tried Plotting to any other output devices?

Is it possible to post the drawing file so we can take a look...

Sorry this was problem for another user.
After furtther investigating ....

They were using a DWF file and the Audesk Viewer wasn't reading one of the ARIAL TTF characters.

Downloaded some updates and it began to substitute the characters fine.

Everything plots fine. Still get an error message when we open the DWF about missing font and its being substituted... annoying...

I guess the DWF was not made properly.

Good to hear you got it "fixed".

Or the creator and sender of the DWF simply did not send the necessary font files (Custom / Third Party / Non Standard) with it, so it may be viewed correctly.
