    Default Long plot times

I just upgraded from ACAD 2004 to ADT 2006 and now it takes 10-15 minutes before the plotter even starts plotting. I'm on Windows XP and another on 2000 and plotting to an HP 600 plotter. I updated the driver, checked all the settings I know of and still no change. Even 2004 is bogged down now.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi

Check out the following Technical Document on the Autodesk web site under the Knowledge Base section -

ID: TS45965 - HP DesignJet 600 plotter takes longer to plot in AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT

Note: I realise the above document relates to AutoCAD & AutoCAD LT, I am only offering it in the hope it might get you going in the right direction, and enable you to find a satisfactory solution.

    Have a good one, Mike
