Boundary intersects itself. Surface boundary could not be applied.

This is the message displayed when I try to define my surface boundary in the Terrain Model Explorer. Is there an alternate solution to redrawing my boundary?

You could try MAP's Drawing Clean Up tool.

If you zoom out so that you can see the entire boundary, you should see a green X locating where the boundary is intersecting itself, Zoom into that intersection, break the pline and then all should be well. if you have more than one intersection like this, you will need to repeat as needed to clean up the vertices.
