    Default Select all instances by level

    Group;

    I wish I could do this. Let me know what you think.
    Another would be to filter selected by level.

    I always thought we needed by view for detail stuff, never really gave model stuff much thought though, by level would not be the only way to do it I think - by view for model stuff wouldnt really work.... but how about this ..

    How about some sort of Selection tool linked to a scope box? - with a crossing or window option....

    So for example you'd go select all instances - in scope box 3, by crossing.... or by window (but in a 3D sense of course) - that would be really,really nice... give scope boxes a new lease of life too... you could set them up specifically for selection of objects as well as for view settings, and leave them lying arounf till later - creating loads of little zones that you can quickly select all objects of a certain type in instantly - be pretty good I think!!.

    Same as this one, and many others I'm sure.
