This problem seems to come up repeatedly. The old solution of splitting and moving a portion out of sight is problematic, The schedule filtering option in 6.0 provides a much better way to handle putting parts of the same schedule on more than one sheet.
Create two schedules of the same type with the same data fields. Filter each schedule by some value that allows you to control where the schedule start and stops. For example you could filter a room schedule by level and include only levels up to 5 on one and levels above 5 on the other. Another method would be to use instance marks such as door numbers. Filter one schedule to show doors numbered < 525 and another so that it contains numbers > 524. After filtering, place each schedule on a different sheet.
You may have to modify filter characteristics if you add a lot of new items and one of the schedules gets too long, but this is simply a matter of changing the filter criteria in the schedule's view properties.

Is there an updated way to do this in 2011 without using filters?

Yes there is a way of doing this is 2-3 seconds.

Archigrafix Reports: The tool alows to split the schedule in multiple pages (send to printer/PDF/Word). Many formating possibilities, and auto-save of settings, so that it can be frequently done without needing to reset the format.
