Is it possible to get the wall footings to wrap where the footing width would change. Example would be at at wall bumpout. (see attached)

Hi,
I presume you mean the continuous footing function. If you make the pilaster from a wall family the footing will wrap. If you use an architectural column for the pilaster the continuous footing will not recognize it as a host object and so will not wrap.

What you see in the image is a 12" cmu wall, 20" cmu wall/pilaster (made up of 12" and 8" cmu) than 12" cmu wall. So yes, the pilaster is a wall family. Do I need to do something with the wall wraps in order for the footings to wrap. Because what you see in the image is the footing stopping exactly where the wall splits from 12" to 20".
thanks,
Try just making one 20" cmu wall, instead of the 12" + 8".

Still does not work. I have played with the interior/exterior wall wraps of the wall properties and it does not work. The footing properties do not appear to account for this. I know I have other options by modeling it as a slab, but I would like to make use of the footing method if possible.
The attached file shows what I have done in similar circumstances. It is a work-around but it is what I am doing until we are able to use wraps or some other method.
You will notice that I am using continuous footings for the 12" walls and an isolated footing for the pilaster. I split the 12" wall at the edge of the isolated footing, join the continuous footings to the isolated footings, and finally use the 'Linework' tool to clean-up the lines between the continuous and isolated footings so that they appear as a monolithic pour.
