Need to change family category
This is a family I downloaded from RevitCity. I would like to change its "category" classification from "generic" to "structural foundations". I have read all the threads I can find on this subject - seems straight forward - but I can't seem to get the "category" to change. No problem creating my own family - just want to understand why I can't get this to work.

When I load into my drawing it is in the Structural Foundation browser.

When I try to control its visibility as a "structural foundation" it does not shut off still thinks it is a "generic model".

Seems to be working properly on my end too...
You should be able to verify by opening up the family itself, then settings, Family catagories and Parameters - Verify that Structural Foundation is selected.
Maybe reload in your project again...
