    Default AutoCAD Mechanical Blocks

    Hello:

I am in need of an efficient software package that provides accurate mechanical blocks.

ie. 2D pipe sizes (all sizes), valves (all types and sizes), PVC, ductile iron, butt weld etc.

Does anyone know of a product I can find on the web that works well and can be used by
    the entire office (licensing)

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Jason Coppula

are you looking at a program to create new blocks, or at just a block library with all of these things already in it?

    Hi

Good manufacturing companies of such items normally supply free AutoCAD Block Libraries; plus the better ones also supply free AutoCAD Partial Menu's that Insert (amongst other stuff) these Block Libraries (this is true for UK based companies).

    Have a good one, Mike

Alright, I'll move this from the Software forum to this one as I believe it would be better served here.

As Mike suggested, you might want to check with some manufacturer's, but, you can also just start looking for sites that offer blocks as listed in this post.
