Default FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 exception at 63d8dd96h

Anyone have a clue on this error? Googled it, nothing.

"FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 exception at 63d8dd96h"

This is really messing with my drawing, I can't even rotate a an object.

    Hi

Check out the following thread (the bit of interest is the snippet from Ed Jobe) -

    Red AutoSNAP marker

Issues/Problems with random crashes are notoriously difficult to resolve due to their very nature.... hopefully Ed's little guide will help.

Have a browse of the following thread (it doesn't answer your particular problem, but hopefully it will suggest a few other pointers that you may want to investigate) -

Fatal Error ... blah blah blah

    Have a good one, Mike

One thing that helped me before with a fatal error was to Audit my drawing and any associated xrefs. Just go to File-Drawing Utilities-Audit. I generally allow it to auto correct any errors. I think my problems were caused by copy/pasting tables in AutoCAD 2005 too many times. Also if your Auto-save function is set to save on a non-local server, sometimes that can corrupt a file, at least in theory. We changed that setting and now it works, so who knows.
