Curved Roof Deck

Has anyone discovered a way to create curved metal roof deck? I've tried creating an in-place family with a solid sweep and assigning a metal deck profile but can make it work. The attached file shows one in a series of curved frames that the metal deck would sit on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Slabs are limited right now, you can only slope them in one direction. You could use a roof by extrusion, the roof deck profile will not show though.

Roof by extrusion is probably your best option. Then save as and modify the roof deck detail component to be curved. Place that in any cuts and array it around the curve.

Or if you want to put a lot of detail in the model you could draw the top profile as your extrusion profile and make the roof 1/8" or so thick.

Hi,
Try to make an extrusion, and sketch the deck shape (In section I presume). It's a little monotonous for sure, but should work.

Thanks for the replies. I also sent a support request to Autodesk. Their response was that it's not possible with the current slab element but they will look into adding this functionality in a future release. Thought you may be interested.
