Can't insert row with custom formatting

I'm having an issue with inserting rows into a table. I have customized the table to look as I want it. When I need a new row, I rt-click on a cell in the row I need to duplicate and select Insert Row > Below. I get a new row with the original tables format. Any ways to insert a row and maintain the selected row's properties?

This is not possible with the ACAD table command. The inserted row simply reads the format as described in the table style. It has no way of reading the merge condition you have applied when inserting a new row.
