Default Dynamic Blocks + Dynamic Input = BUG

Set up a dynamic block with at stretch action. The length parameter has an increment of 2" from 2' to 12'

After placement, drag grip and get a dynamic input box with the overall width of the block. Type in a number (let's say 4') and the block jumps to 6' !! Now drag grip again, type in 3' at the dynamic input box and the length jumps to 2' !!

Any suggestions would be appreciated (block is attached below).

    Thanks in advance

The problem may be in you dynamic input and the side the cursor is located compared to the original location of the grip when you selected it. Just a thought.

i have had the same problem with a block and i think i know what causes it but i'm not sure how to fix it. You changed the base location of the parameter from startpoint to midpoint so that both sides will stretch equally. I've noticed doing this will screw up the dynamic input. If you change it back to startpoint it will work fine, but then both sides don't stretch out equally. I've been trying to figure out how to correct this myself.
