    Question Associativity in copied leaders

I'm trying to copy a standard detail that involves leaders from one drawing to another, using the copybase command. However, after the copy process, the mtext and the leaders are no longer "attached" to each other. Is it possible to change some option to keep the two associated?

    Hi

    They should be ok!...

Maybe check if both drawing files share the same setting for DimAssoc

    Have a good one, Mike

I don't think that the Dimassoc setting is the problem. Both drawings are set to 2. I'm still having the same problem that when I move the text, the leader doesn't follow.

Do you still have that problem when you use WBLOCK?

That's interesting - when I insert a block and explode them, the text and the leaders are still associated. Does anyone know why it doesn't work with copybase, though?

    Hi

Please post two example drawing files that exhibit the behaviour you have described.

Why? - I am unable to reproduce the issue / problem you are currently experiencing with this. Therefore being able to see the issue / problem first-hand might help the processing in finding you an answer, workable solution.

    Have a hood one, Mike

I just had some help and found a command in the express menu that attaches a leader to text, so that solves my problem. Thanks for your help.
