Can't justify Model Text?

Is it just me, or does the Horizontal justification for model text not work?

Also, why doesn't Model Text built into a family show up an elevation view while in said family, but shows up in elevation when inserted into the project?

What I am trying to do is get the model text in elevation to match the annotation in plan. I have both sharing a parameter and it works great...only problem is, when the model text changes, it makes it changes left justified whereas I want them centered. See attached.

hmmm...interesting. I was trying to do the same thing awhile back, where my Room Control Signage would read the room name from the room tag, and update the model text on the sign to match. Room Parameters were not shared parameters, so I couldn't get it to work. I also had alignment problems, and was not able to contrain model text to ref planes.

You might get where you want to go if you check out THIS THREAD? Oh, I don't think you'll be able to get the room info into the family automatically Scott, interesting idea though!
