    Post Profiles - Toolbar position

When I set up a new profile the "layer Properties" toolbar comes in in the upper right corner
of my drawing. I set it back to the left and save, however when I start a new drawing it goes back to the right side upon opening.???
How do I set the toolbar so they do not change locations.???

What version are you using? In 06, I can right-click a toolbar and get a selection to 'Lock Location'.

is there something that is causing your profile to switch such as a /p in the autocad shortcut?

    /p
    User-defined registry
    profile for starting AutoCAD
Specifies a user-defined registry profile for starting AutoCAD. The selected profile is in effect only for the current session of AutoCAD, unless you make another profile current in the Options dialog box during that session.

You create or import profiles on the Profiles tab in the Options dialog box. With the /p switch, you can specify only those profiles that are listed in the Options dialog box. If the profile does not exist, AutoCAD uses the current profile.

    Hi

Try plugging in the following search criteria in the forum search facility...

    Key Word(s): *Toolbar* + *Position*

    Have a good one, Mike
