Win XP 64 and 2006 Survey module

My favorite Guinea pig running XP 64 reports he can't launch import points from data collector without getting a boat load of errors and a crash. He suspects that the code is still 16-bit and win 64 won't run 16-bit apps. Anybody out there with any suggestions.
