I would be grateful if someone could tell me how to get Express Tools back. AutoCAD was re-Installed (by others) and I can't remember how to retrieve ET.
Thanks in advance

Which version of acad and is it a standalone or network installation?
Hi Ami
Please note I have *moved* this thread from the CAD Mgmt. General forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.
Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike,
Thanks, I didn't have a clue where to post, but will know for future. I will have a look at the search.

Hi, John B,
Thanks for your response. I'm on 2004 and network. If you have a quick fix for me that would be great. I had this happen a few years ago, but have totally forgotten what I did then.

If they have been installed, try using
If not, they probably need to be installedTo activate the AutoCAD Express Tools, use the EXPRESSTOOLS command.
The library files for the AutoCAD Express Tools are not loaded at AutoCAD startup by default. This was done to reduce the time needed to load AutoCAD. The libraries load the first time that an Express Tools command is issued, creating a delay the first time you use an Express Tool in an AutoCAD session. You can use the EXPRESSTOOLS command to force the AutoCAD Express Tools libraries to be loaded at the beginning of the AutoCAD session.
If the AutoCAD Express Tool commands are available on the command line but the Express menu is not displayed, use the EXPRESSMENU command to display the menu.
Thanks all,
Up and running again. Really appreciate all the help.
Regards
Ami
