Default Import DWF as symbol catalog

After creating and publishing a dwg full of Mtext notes to a dwf, I wanted to import those notes as a symbol catalog in Composer. However, not matter what I've tried, I can't get the notes to import using the 'import each object on sheets as a symbol' method. I've converted the mtext to blocks and tried various combinations of object manipulation but still have nothing to use in Composer. Any ideas or details I should know about?

    I'm using DWF Composer 2....

    Thanks,
    Rayski

I was having the same issue when publishing a DWF from Revit. I managed to get it to work by opening the DWF you want to create the catalog from, then doing a save as over the initial file I exported. It then seemed to import and create the catalog flawlessy after that.

When you publish those blocks go to options (in Publish dialog box) and select "include block information" under DWF Data Option section and publish it.
Import that into DWF composer using "Import each object on a sheet as a symbol"

    OR other method is

place one block per layout and publish it --> import into DWF Composer using "Import each sheet as a symbol"

    Hope that works.
