Default AUGI Guage with ADT2004 ?

    Hi all,

I'm trying to design new workstations for my CAD users, and we use Architectutaral desktop 2004.

I tried to use the AUGI gauge program with ADT4, but I am having problems. When I run the script, it will load a file, but does not apear to do anythig. If I manually close the file, it will open another one, but it does not seem to run any operations.

The command line shows the error:
    *Setting system variables
error: AutoCAD variable setting rejected" "DRAWORDERCTL" 0

Does this bencmark program work with ADT4? Is there something I can change to make it operate?

    Thanks
    Jim

I have heard of other members using it sucessfully on ADT 2004, however the AUGI Gauge is no longer supported, so I wouldn't know where to go with this. I've found that with most new computers these days, running programs has become less of an issue.

    OK, thanks Steve.

So, what tools are people using nowadays to test AutoCAD performance?

I, personally, have not used benchmarking software (they just buy me what my secretary uses anyway), and I hadn't really seen the topic come up much here, but, I saw quite a few threads on the Autodesk discussion groups hardware forum. Good luck.
