    Default New corner mullion help.

I have searched the threads and have come up with nothing. I have made some custom mullions that are used for tile in a sloped glazing system. They work pretty well, but at the ridge I need to make a corner mullion so they intersect correctly. I made a half circle first but it sits on one side of the grid line, so I made a 1/4 circle and, but there is a gap. I have attached a couple of images for clarification. Thanks for any help.

Wow! Very creative use of Revit sloped glazing. I have made standing seam roofs with sloped glazing but I have never seen anyone make a tile roof that way. As far as helping with your corner mullion problem, I don't have a clue. I think you are pretty much in uncharted territory. Let us know if you figure out how to do it.

Like Scott said, WOW!!! I love what you done so far but sadly can't offer any help.
I'd give you 10/10 for thinking outside the square. Great job.
    Cheers @blads

You'll need a second roof for the deck under the tile roof correct? Put a roof fascia board as the ridge piece on the roof UNDER the tile roof , just use a vertical offset to get it in the correct place. This will be your tile roof ridge cap.

You're a genius. I new there was a way to do it. Thanks for the help! My boss is pumped right now. I have attached an image of the final roof.

I thought I would share my profiles with you guys since there has been a lot of talk about tile roofs.

    Here are the steps:
    1. Make a roof the thickness of the underlying diaphragm
    2. Copy the lines that made that roof & make a new roof by pasting those lines
    3. Turn it into a sloped glazing roof & set the grid lines to 11" o.c.
    4. Load the profiles provided by me and make new mullions out of them
    5. Put a quad corner mullion with a material that is 100% transparent at the ridges to clean up the intersecting tile
    6. Make a new Facia with profile for the ridge cap and apply the facia to the ridges and offset vertically 3"
    7. Use profile to make a new gutter family to be used at roof edges.

    Your done!

Hope this helps many people that have come across this problem in the past.

Here is an image of the final model with "Real Tile Roofs". This is two units of a loft project that we are doing. There are 48 total units. Enjoy!

Thanks & you're welcome Scott. What's the Architecture scene like in SB? I was up there a while back and it seems it's all red tile roofs & white stucco. Isn't hard to get stuff built there? Just curious.
