Default How to grey-out Rough Width and Rough Height parameters

In window and door families, to a make Rough Height and Rough Width dimensions greyed-out and non -editable try by the end user, try the following trick...

    1) Make a new parameter called "Make it Grey". Give it a value of zero in the formula column.

    2) In the formulas column add "Make it Grey" to the formulas for Rough Width and Rough Height

This will work for any parameter that has its dimension based on another parameter (Rough Width and Width for example). Also remember for parameters that don't need to change, if you put their value in the formula column they will show as grey to the end users of the family ("Make it Grey" in the above example).

Unfortunately what is missing is a way to make non-dependent parameters (i.e. Width and Height) non-editable by the end user. See this wishlist post for more info on this...
