Occupancy Load Calc

I would like to make an Annotation Tag that calc's the people load in a room.
If I start with a 'Room Anno Tag' and divide the area by the area per person it will give me the Occupancy Load per room.
I made shared parameters for a group occupancy Load' with parameters for Assembly, Office, etc.
I created a new Anno Symbol called Occupancy Load from 'Room Tag'.
If I try to add a parameter from the Family Types it does not give me Shared parameters. Also, I cannot add a Family Type Parameter with a formula with Area / number. It does not recognize 'Area'.
I cannot get past this point. Can you please point me in the right direction.
