    Default Create View (profiles)

I have my alignments and profiles all set-up they way I want them. The only problem I'm still having is I have a profile that goes from 0+00 to 31+57. I have the profile inserted, but I want to insert another one of just stations 0+00 to 13+00. I'm using the "Create View" command under profiles and I believe I'm doing it right but I'm still getting the full profile from 0+00 to 31+57. Here are my settings in the attached .jpg. What am I doing wrong? Any help is much appreciated.

    xstat,
Not sure you're doing anything wrong, I can't get it to build specified stations either.
    Might just be a bug?
Unless anyone else has had success!

    xstat,
Try copying your original profile and then rightclick>profile view properties
    Change user specified station range.
This should take care of the problem.

You are the man! There must be a bug with the other way, but this does work. Thanks!

I'm not sure what the difference was, cause your settings looked good. I've been able to successfully create additional profile views that show "sections" of an entire profile.

This is actually how I'm handling my profile of plan and profile sheets. I have an individual profile view for each sheet. This way, all of the profile view's labeling is nice and snug up to the profile. If I have to change the sheet's datum, no problem. All the profile views are arranged in a grid the size of my viewports into a single reference file. Then, if there's notes, or such that need to be shown on all the sheets, it's just a simple array command to add it.

I've had good luck doing this, but my only caution is that if you have 30+ sheets, that's a lot of labeling that can slow down your computer. You can speed it up by using a profile view style that has less labels during your design process.

Also, another thing that's cool about this is that if you name your profile views the same as your sheet numbers, you can just use the zoom to from the prospector to go directly to a specific sheet...it's pretty handy.
