We receive plans from one of our clients who have very strict graphic standards. You must use their named layers, blocks etc, to the letter! Their blocks have their layers in them. They use a one drawing one file system. This means you end up with layers anchored in the plans. I've even had multiple layers with the same name (which I didn't think was possible). The worst is that the client won't accept plans with multiple layers and no matter what I do I can't get rid of them! I've tried everything. Exploding the blocks, freezing the layers and going thru' them one by one, checking I don't have invisible objects far off in a corner. In fact with these layers I try to erase "all" but it says the objects weren't in the object space, so I go in the paper space and do the same thing but get the answer that the objects weren't in the paper space either. So where are they? They're not in the blocks as I've remade all the blocks without layers at all.
