    Default Mass Properties-Mass

How do I change the Mass values in the massproperties command. It is returning 1lb per cu in.

    Thanks

    Hi

As far as I know, you can not within vanilla AutoCAD ( though something could be written in AutoLISP / VBA / etc to work round this limitation ).

I believe AutoCAD uses a density of 1 with the _.MassProp command.

I believe Inventor and_or Mechanical Desktop allow different densities to be set.

Take a look at the following threads, hopefully they will give you one or two ideas...

    converting units

AutoLISP routine to calculate the total weight of steel

    Have a good one, Mike
